Wollemi NP
After the indulgences of the enchanting Clare Valley, we headed back home.
The free camp at Tocumwal on the Murray River was quiet except for the many delightful birds.
Southern NSW
The weather was so unusually sunny that we decided to spend a day at Wollemi NP instead of driving. From Capertee we headed into the Wollemi NP towards Glen Davis but turned north just before we got there. The drive was spectacular and we kept stopping to take photos.
Dunn's Swamp is now our favourite NP camp site
A Rockwarbler
The NP is famous for the pagodas throughout the NP and particularly in the Dunn's Swamp area.
The River was dammed to provide water for Kandos Cement in the 1920's and it created this beautiful waterway. The pagoda lookout gives great views of the pagodas and the surrounding country.
