Redbank Gorge was another wonder. We found a high camp
site at Redbank Gorge, overlooking the valley leading to Redbank Gorge and Mt Sonder.
Here we met someone who convinced us to do the 16km return climb of Mt Sonder. Sore and tired afterwards, but so so pleased we had made the effort. The light kept changing subtly all day and the scenery was so amazing that every time I looked up from the rocky track, I felt like I was seeing it for the first time…hence all the photos!
Gosse Bluff in the distance, a meteor crater.
